This 964 Carrera Cabriolet came in for a full interior overhaul. Driver, passenger, and rear seats were reupholstered along with the center console, shift boot, and emergency brake — all in a classic sand beige leather that suits the generation well. New floor mats were fabricated using factory-matched carpet with leather binding sourced to complement the seat leather. The work finished with a new black German canvas convertible top, bringing every surface back to a cohesive, period-correct standard.
The factory headliner on this Cayman was replaced with Alcantara — a popular upgrade on the 987 generation that adds a more premium, sport-oriented feel to the cabin ceiling. Alcantara is the same material Porsche uses on factory sport interiors and steering wheels, making it a natural fit for the platform.
The driver and passenger seats and steering wheel on this 996 Carrera were restored using factory-matched Nappa leather — a softer, more supple grade than standard leather that Porsche has long used on higher-spec interiors. The headrests were finished with custom embroidered Porsche crests at the customer’s request, a classic personalization detail on restored 996 interiors.
